Our Story


Nestled in the picturesque County Clare along the Wild Atlantic Way, Summerville Wagyu is an Irish farm devoted to sustainable practices and the production of exceptional, grass-fed Wagyu beef. Our dedication to ethical farming ensures that all our Wagyu cattle are born and raised right here on our farm, providing you with complete traceability regarding your beef's origins.

    Why Summerville Wagyu?

Wagyu, which translates to "black cow" in Japanese, is celebrated for its rich inter-muscular marbling, which enables the meat to melt at lower temperatures. This unique quality results in a melt-in-the-mouth experience that is bursting with flavour. Unlike conventional beef, Wagyu is abundant in monounsaturated fats (the healthy kind) and boasts high levels of oleic acid, omega-3, and omega-6 fatty acids. As well as this, the cholesterol content in Wagyu is significantly lower than that of conventional beef, making it a delicious and heart-healthy choice.
